The Emperor
23 September 63 BC, Rome: Gaius Julius Caesar Octavian Augustus, considered the founder of the Roman Empire and its first emperor, was born. Such an important man needed only a gesture, a simple gesture, to summon the silence of an entire army.
Hand-drawn and digitally sculpted, this work was produced in PLA using 3D printing techniques.
Augustus, through his every detail, gives us a hint of what his presence and importance was.
