Perpetual tension
First in bronze, then in marble, and now in PLA. Three different materials, three equally distant technologies, but the concept persists: the passion for the Olympic Games, the cult of the perfection of the human body, inner calm and the quest for formal harmony. This, this is what the Discobolus represents, at its moment of maximum muscular tension, like a bow perpetually waiting to shoot its arrow.
The Discopolo is a work capable of narrating the eternal dialogue between past and future: a symbol of strength and dynamism, set into a wall it enhances the contrast between movement and immobility.
Hand-drawn and digitally sculpted, this work is made of PLA through advanced 3D printing techniques. It is fixed to the wall, becoming a decorative and impactful element.
The Discopolo is not just a sculpture, but a new artistic vision that inspires and innovates.
