To infinity and beyond
A custom-designed award for e-GEOS, designed to celebrate the identity of the area that hosts their centre: Rome. At the centre of the work, the Colosseum, eternal symbol of the city and its greatness, reinterpreted as an emblem of resilience and innovation. Towering above it, the watchful gaze of COSMO-SkyMed, one of the most advanced satellites in the system, representing the technological soul of e-GEOS: a perfect union between millennial history and spatial vision.
Hand-drawn and digitally sculpted, this work was made from PLA, using 3D printing techniques.
Thanks to our technological advancement, it was possible to print details, such as the lettering, directly in two different colours - white and red - without the need for any subsequent work. This allowed us to significantly reduce post-production times and, at the same time, expand the design possibilities, making each realisation even more efficient.
