Do we dispose or reuse?

✽ Problem

Food waste occurs relentlessly around the world every day, causing serious consequences for the environment. In addition to the considerable cost of sorting wet waste, disposal systems are often inadequate and harmful.

✽ Concept

Sfere, as well as being the name of the machine, is the name of a concept: giving back to the earth the nourishment it gives to its creatures. In a tiny sphere resides a projection of prosperity for nature and all life: a nourishment that man creates indirectly for the earth, without wasting energy or great effort.

✽ Operation

The plant for treating organic and/or inorganic waste is designed to concentrate, stabilise or transform it into reusable products such as fertilisers or biomass.

Il processo si basa sull’evaporazione dell’acqua a bassa temperatura (circa 65°C) in condizioni di vuoto spinto, combinata con l’azione di microonde. In poche ore si ottiene un prodotto finale a volume ridotto, con basso consumo energetico e privo di emissioni inquinanti. Il materiale trattato può essere impiegato direttamente per migliorare la qualità del suolo o come fonte energetica.

L’impianto è economico da produrre, gestire e mantenere, rappresentando una soluzione sostenibile ed efficiente per le aziende soggette a normative ambientali sempre più stringenti.
