Astral nature
Project conceived and curated by Giorgio Vigna. Three unique and exclusive works, produced in a strictly limited edition and generously donated by the artist to the Paideia Foundation and the Maria Teresa Lavazza Foundation. All proceeds from the sale were donated to support the valuable charitable activities carried out by the two foundations.
✽ How did we participate ?
At Esa Genius, in collaboration with master goldsmith Paolo Mangano, we created one of the three designs in the collection: «Astral Stone», a magnetic brooch with an unmistakable precious finish, the result of a combination of traditional goldsmithing craftsmanship and digital manufacturing technologies.
«Astral Stone» was initially drawn by hand and then digitally sculpted. The work was created in PLA using 3D printing, then covered with a layer of protective resin and finally subjected to an electroplating bath followed by final polishing.
✽ Where and when ?
Between October and November 2025, an event organised by Ersel was held in Milan, providing an important opportunity for meeting and discussion. The initiative, hosted in the Lombardy capital, brought together professionals and participants in a dynamic and stimulating environment, encouraging the exchange of ideas and in-depth discussion of topics of common interest.
